It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the closure of Espé® due to ongoing international manufacturing challenges.

This business has always been a true labor of love - a pure expression of the passion for hair and scalp wellness that both Leona and I share.
Our goal from the very beginning was to provide you with a scalp brush unlike anything else on the market, defined by unmatched quality and craftsmanship. We are incredibly proud of what we built and are confident that we achieved exactly that.

Unfortunately, we have recently faced insurmountable hurdles in manufacturing our brushes to the exacting standards we demand, and we have been unable to sustain this with our factory in Japan. While we carefully considered relocating our manufacturing to other countries, doing so meant we could no longer guarantee the same level of excellence. Both Leona and I absolutely refuse to lower our standards or compromise on the quality you deserve.

Furthermore, the ongoing global supply chain issues and international conflicts in the Middle East have made sourcing our premium materials significantly more costly. Continuing to manufacture a brush of this caliber is simply no longer financially viable.
